Effective June 1, 2007: A new ordinance is in effect which prohibits the sale, possession, and use of all fireworks and pyrotechnics on Hatteras Island. Violations of the regulation shall be guilty of a Class 3 misdemeanor and a $250 fine. Since you cannot have fireworks, why not hire a pirate instead?!?
