"Colonel James Morgan" and his wife "Gillie Ann" represent well-to-do Southern civilians during the time of the "Recent Unpleasantness" known to all as the Civil War (1861-1865). These are reenactors who do not spout the facts that most have heard, but offer tales of how the War affected them, their home, family, and livelihood.
